Fertile Farmland for Sale in Perry County, Alabama

Now is a good time to buy farmland in Perry County, Alabama. Perry County is in the famous Black Belt region, an area known for its fertile, black soils and the crops and wildlife it produces.

I say now is a good time to buy a farm because there is a good selection of farms on the market, or that are not currently advertised but the owners are willing to sell. There are 7 or 8 working farms ranging in size from 250 acres to over 1400 acres that are currently for sale.

Some of these farms are a combination of cattle farming and aquaculture. Perry County is home to a large catfish-producing industry. Many farmers grow their fish and sell them to the local processing plants in Uniontown and in Greensboro.

These farms are located near Marion, Hamburg, and Uniontown, Alabama. You could spend a half-day and preview several of these farms. If you are looking for a working farm, getaway place, or premier hunting property, please contact me to see how I can be helpful.
